Fellowship Baptist College reserves the right to decline or reject any application, based on the decision, or recommendation of the President of the college, or Board of Directors.
Students may be admitted on the following basis:
1. Graduation from high school, either public, private or home school, with a "C" average.
2. Probationary admission of students with grades below average or who have not procured a diploma.
Transfers from other Colleges
An applicant for admission from another college must submit an official
transcript of record from each college he has attended. Such transcripts must be in the hands of the registrar before the beginning of the semester that he intends to enter Fellowship Baptist College.
Each applicant for admission from another college is handled on an individual basis of evaluation of credits. However, the student must be eligible to reenter the college he last attended. Proper credit will be granted for previous training.
Report cards will be issued at the close of each semester. One copy will be given/sent to the student and one copy will be mailed to the parents of minor students.
Teachers are free to give consideration to the students' attitudes, attendance, recitation, and other factors which it is deemed appropriate for college students. The grades are:
A - Superior (93-100)
B - Above Average (85-92)
C - Average or Satisfactory (77-84)
D - Below Average or Poor (70-76)
F - Failure (Below 70)
I - Incomplete (The deficiency must be removed during the next academic semester, oatherwise the grade will be changed to an "F".)
GRADE POINTS
For the purpose of computing grade averages, grade points are assigned as follows: to the grade A, 4.0 points; to B, 3.0 points; to C, 2.0 points to D, 1.0 point; and F, 0 points.
SCHOLASTIC PROBATION AND SUSPENSION
A grade point average of at least 2.0 must be maintained during the course of study in the college. Any student having an average below 2.0 for a semester's work will be placed on Academic Probation for the next semester.
A student on probation will be given one semester to make a 2.0 average on all courses pursued during that semester. A student who is on final probation must attain a 2.0 average or be placed on Academic Suspension. After the lapse of one semester, a student may reenter on probation. If this probation is not removed by attaining a 2.0 average in the next semester, the student will be dismissed from the college.
These Scholastic Qualifications are subject to modification by the Administration due to the circumstances of particular students.
SPECIAL HONORS
The student who has special honors recorded on his/her permanent record commands special attention from those who will review the record in the future. Such honors can be special aids in being admitted to graduate degree programs or equally valuable assets in securing employment after graduation.
LOCATION
The school is located at Moorseville in Central Indiana just 15 minutes from Indianapolis. It's location makes it one of the most nationally accessable Bible colleges in the Country. Indianapolis is a progressive, commercial, and industrial center with many job opportunities.
CAMPUS AND BUILDINGS
The college is housed within the facility of the Good Shepherd Baptist Church. Those facilities include classrooms, dormitory, library, computer lab, gymnasium and offices.
DORMITORY ACCOMMODATIONS
Limited dormitory space is available for both male and female students. This dormitory space is located on location of Good Shepherd Baptist Church.
CHAPEL ATTENDANCE
Chapel services are held once a week. Attendance is required.
CLASS ATTENDANCE
Regular class attendance is required. Three clock hours constitute the maximum number of unexcused absences. The students grade is reduced one half letter grade for each unexcused absence thereafter.
SCHOOL'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR INJURY
Fellowship Baptist College will not be responsible for any injury, which a student may receive in any class or extracurricular activities, whether such injury may have been received on the campus, or elsewhere. Students will engage in such activities at their own risk.
DISCIPLINE
Discipline at the school is positive. Certain standards to which all students are required to adhere will be maintained. A demerit system is used for violations of student conduct and dismissal. Students will not be permitted to use tobacco in any form or to partake of alcoholic beverages for any purpose or occasion.
